  •  PARKING / FINDING THE SPACE 

    1. Address: 405 Southwest Blvd Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64108

    2. There is a lot for you all to park BEHIND the entrance, but you're welcome to find street parking in the surrounding area (specifically across Pennway St).

    (** If you enter in 405 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108, which is technically Waynes Motorcycle Company, into Google Maps, it'll actually direct you to the parking lot that you can park in!)

    3. I'd give yourself enough time to find parking and get situated, but we are not letting anyone into the space until 12:15pm!

    Bring all your makeup & brushes, your mirror, your bestie/mom/sister/daughter, and come learn how to do your makeup!

    I will walk you through each step of a fun, summertime, night-time look. From skincare prep, to complexion, soft eyeshadow, then lips.

    This lesson is open, casual, and fun! Ask questions and get glam.

    During the open house, help yourself to the flower bar and make yourself a bouquet to take home, on me!

Meet Kelsey,

Hey friend! I’m Kelsey — Makeup artist, licensed esthetician, educator, and professional hype-man (also Taco Bell extraordinaire, if that’s relevant..)

I have been a bridal makeup artist for almost 9 years (anniversary is in November!!) and a licensed esthetician for 5 of those years.

Through that time, I have discovered a deep love for people and for education. This discovery actually lead me back to school. I am currently finishing my bachelors in Psychology, with plans to pursue a masters in Marriage and Family counseling.

The past 2 years, though, have been filled with 1-1 makeup lessons with all of you.

Empowering you, educating you on the power of makeup, and sending you on your way feeling more confident and excited in your skills than ever before.

I want to sit with you and explain the power of makeup, the correct techniques to get the most out of it, and how to work with makeup to suit YOUR needs. Makeup isn’t one size fits all. You deserve to learn how to tailor it to your lifestyle, face shape, skin color, eye color, you name it.

  • I got you.

    This event will be held at The Moderne Loft. Address is 405 Southwest Blvd Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64108.

    Event starts at 12:15pm, with the lesson starting promptly at 12:30pm. Lesson is from 12:30pm - 2:45pm, then the open house will last until 5:45pm!

  • Full event tickets are $150, open house tickets are free!

    • ALL of your favorite makeup & brushes. You will receive a list of products that Kelsey will use beforehand, that way you’re as prepared as possible for each step.

    • A handheld or stationary mirror to do your makeup in.

    • Phone or notebook to take notes, if you’d like.

    • Your bestie or loved one! (not mandatory, but who doesn’t love attending an event with a friend?)

  • No problem at all. There is no pressure to buy anything new for this. The whole point is to learn how to use what we already have!

    I will teach you all the steps regardless, so you can just pick up with the application where you have the product.
